The Javari Institute
The Javari Valley Social Environmental Development Institute is a Brazilian non-profit organization that works for the social environmental conservation and development of the Javari Valley region.
Our objective is to foster the conservation of the environment, minimize the impact of man on nature and improve the quality of life of the local communities.
And for such, we promote: Environmental protection activities with the local communities; Educational projects for the riverside communities; The knowledge and use of the conservation practical methods; The ecological and rational tourism by providing relevant information about the Amazon Forest, how to respect it and keep it.

The municipalities of North Watchtower and Benjamin Constant, located in the upper Amazon, have joined the list of places affected by the floods. A city declared a state of emergency. Across the state, 68,436 people were affected by flooding. The data was released on Tuesday (31) by the State Civil Defense.

OSCIP (Civil Society Organization of Public Interest) is a title granted by the Ministry of Justice of Brazil. Its aim is to facilitate the development of partnerships and covenants with the government and the public agencies. It enables that those donations made by the private organizations to be deducted from Income Tax.
CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) is a non - profit organization that was incorporated over 80 years ago. Its objective is to strengthen the private social investment, to influence the public power in favor of the social investment and to help donators to identify and support the social causes. It provides services for the individual, corporate and NGO donators.
